I began writing children's plays based on fairy tales about 1978. I developed them into simple, short plays that would include good parts for four to seven actors. It made them easier to practice and to control. The sets, props, and backdrops were equally simple. We began performing them and did so with classes from first to high school. When I did them with first graders most teachers didn't think it was possible, but we were successful. |
