The EVALUATION

The comparison of the four teachers upset the administration, especially when the Director of the project offered me a job to travel around the country teaching districts how to INTEGRATE classrooms. I couldn't take it because I wouldn't leave my wife and family. My district though refused to let me teach my techniques to teachers in my district. The techniques were too effective. My students began to cross racial barriers and visit each other's homes, even date! Way to threatening!

STILL applicable.

This entire research project could have made a qualitative difference how minority children were treated and educated thirty years ago. This book and TEACHER UNDER A MICROSCOPE, plus RACISM, 70's STYLE could still greatly improve minority education if those in power made the changes in teacher training suggested in these books that are supported by unbiased and competent research.
